iirc the dev did promised to scale the difficulty properly this time; 1st tier < 2nd Tier < 3rd instead of like Omega or coil where the last tier was the easiest.

Heavens-on-High is very likely to be the new deep dungeon coming in 4.1, as Yoshida said we'd know it when we saw it.Random thought on the PoTD style combat for raiders...
For some reason that tower in ruby sea comes to mind that goes up into heaven. Imagine that as a raid level multi-floor challenge to see how high you can climb before wiping and every time new gear comes out increasing in ilvl you'd be able to climb a little higher?

Hasn't YoshiP made it clear that he wants this game to be friendly to casual players? He at least does not want to encourage an environment of hostility and raiding elitism for people who spend 10 hours a day in game. Personally I think the raiding being easier than other games is a big proof of this(and that, due to them being Japanese devs, their focus is on how Japanese people play games, and Japanese people have a lot less time on average than westerners do).
Considering I haven't read any articles about players dying while playing the game for 48 hours straight like I have for WOW and such... I think he has succeeded. Games should be fun and relaxing, not encourage entrapment and addiction.
That's my personal issue. I like feeling immersed into the world. Alex felt like it's there and not part of the MSQ. It made no difference if I finished it or not. Coils felt like I'm solving unfinished things from 1.0 and saving Eorzea from another calamity. I felt genuinely eager to see what is next. Gear and music felt very spot on so that was another plus.-Raid storylines sans Coil have been pretty mediocre. Why can't we have a raid with actual MSQ relevance? Normal Mode means everyone can see it, so where's the problem? This point admittedly has less to do with Savage and more to do with raids as a whole.
Omega gives me the Alex vibe so far. It just feels there and not really relative to Eorzea. Omaga wants to test us else it will destroy the world? Yeah cool story bro, maybe you can show us how and why or show us different MSQ outcomes since you manipulate time and all that jazz? >.>;
Maybe in the future but I'm not holding my breath.
I wish it was handled more like Chrono Trigger where we actually see Omega's future if we fail so we have a better motivation to succeed and gradually see the bad future change with each progression? I don't know.
Yes, challenge is a great thing but personally, I like feeling like my victory will matter for the world I play in.

Not having forced logouts isn't encouraging people to take breaks from the game.

What made you think Omega can manipulate time? The raid happens in a digital environment using information he's obtained by sitting on Hydaelyn for thousands of years and interacting with the Allagans. Omega at least has more ties to the MSQ than Alex did, just because it's expanding on Midgardsormr's backstory.That's my personal issue. I like feeling immersed into the world. A1S was a whole different thing in case of difficulty.,
When you want to compare A1S vs. V1S, the difference is similar with Ifrit Story Fight (the 4 man battel around Lvl 20) vs. Royal Menagerie.

i got an idea if u want a challenge.... stop watching guides and do blind runs, and also play a different job entirely
thing about this game is people just stick to 1 job and watch guides online.... then come on here complaining the game is too easy when reality this is the first tier raid for stormblood it will ramp up harder as each tier comes out
sigh with access to the internet people are just copying others strats and rotations and not actually doing the work themselves
