FFXIV is not Dyslexia friendly, can we at least get off "One exchange per lifetime"

O.K, unless I'm missing something, OP wanted the Healing Ring and Caster Ring.

I was buying that caster ring for BLM when I mistakenly hit the healing brace when I wanted the healing ring for my healer as well. The names are too much alike. When I contacted a gm, they will not exchange it because something I did in HW.

Also seems people are confused what I was doing, I did want the CASTER ring, I did want the healing ring, the mistake was buying the healing BRACE and not the RING. I was on BLM as i was buying them so that pop up was expected and thought I was getting the healing ring. I was switching jobs trying to compare stats to see what one was best. I made this brace just prior in buying the mistake:

That is exactly what was bought, so I'm not seeing where the issue is.

WHile this might show what it looks like, I personally can still read it just fine, longer words I do have to pause to work out and words I'm unfamiliar with I have no chance, but it isn't impossible to read. However, saying that, I can see why people who are unfamiliar with words (i.e. having dyslexia from birth, so they have never seen words how they are meant to be) can have trouble reading it.

As for OPs suggestion, if they add it they add it, if they don't, they don't. I don't care either way, but as a suggestion, if you know you are buying a piece for a particular job, then switch to that job before you make the purchase. It's how I do things and the popup always gets me to stop and check the item.

The picture is not likely showing what happened during the problem, just an illustration of what the menu looks like.

Telling someone or implying their disability is manageable from looking at someone elses attempt to display how confusing it is , is very cold and cruel.

Also every disability has different levels of it. Just because someone you know has slight dyslexia does not mean everyones' dyslexia is the same.

Snow said they accidentally bought the healing bracelet from Omega Normal, the picture shows the accessories for Omega Normal and the bracelet has not been bought. If you were going to make a fuss about this, then you would show that you did infact buy it by mistake, and not show that you do not own one. If they just tossed it, then that, to me, also seems silly as you can sell it for seals later and the other, quite nice benefit, is it can prevent you from mistakenly buying another one, since you can only have one on your person at a time, it will be impossible to buy it again.

I'm not saying buying the wrong thing isn't an issue, but when what is being said, and the picture evidence don't line up, it shows something is amiss, whether that's information that's been left out, or just lying.

Now, if they do have dyslexia, they might have bought the casting bracelet (cannot confirm/deny), mistaking it for the healing one, which means they would have the loot that they originally wanted.

It just shows whether or not you're currently carrying one. Didn't they mention putting it on their retainer? If that's true then they could have bought it and that image would still be accurate.
