RDM's Vercure should be removed or heavily nerfed

because aside Ast its most probably the only cls which is able to get that achievement by now - isn't that pure enough to see that it's way overturned compared to 90% of the other cls? oh well we also can buff the 90% to close the cap... just which of those options seem more realistic?

As somebody who still plays FFXI, RDM went through a period of being underpowered and SE wouldn't improve it. And even now it's underpowered until you have geared yourself out in multiple and specific gear sets, BLU on the other hand...is in a position to nuke like a BLM (and without the AoE penalty of additional enemies taking less damage), be pretty tanky and top off their own health - all in the same set up.

But on the argument. I could solo A Ranks as a SCH at level 50 in XIV, it took forever, but I could still do it when a number of jobs wouldn't be able to and is considered group content. I say 50 as I've not tried since.

Yeah my context was based on my experience from old times era, as in pre-abyssea which imo destroyed that game. I've tried it out since L99 cap was raised and I agree RDM isnt what it used to be. Sadface

Then why would SE add an achievement *specifically* for soloing to floor 200?

Isnt there why they added Substain pots though? If you want to make it easy you gonna play the classes that has it easier (Rdm/Ast)

I personally don't entirely care about soloing potd at all. I just don't think RDM should be nerfed just because it can, especially since they changed things up so it would be possible to solo the instances. I'm response to get saying it should be nerfed because its one of two able to, I asked her why it's balance should be based on old content, especially now that devs intend the instance to be soloable now anyway.

instead of having just 2 cls to be able to get the achievement they should make it obtainable for every cls but not force the playerbase to chose between Ast and Rdm. Potd was just a perfect example that RDM got hughe advantages over other cls and therefor you can call it "overpowered". not more not less. Everybody who does not see it or does not want to see it - should selfreflect a bit.

But i can't imagine to many cares about solo palace to F200 though.

But your answer is instead of making it achievable for all classes--just nerf the two who can so nobody can do it? That's silly. And again it's old content, you shouldn't balance a job around it. Vercure is borderline useless in modern raid content. Verraise is the thing everyone complaining about RDM is actually complaining about.

and again "it was just an example that rdm is able to archive things other classes cant" - it's not about potd itself so you can say its old content 100 times, that won't change the core-fact. it just covers: if one cls can archive something what 20 other cls can't than it's just a hint that this cls is way more flexible and more powerful than the rest. and at this point of view it would make much more sense to nerf one cls instead of buffing 20 - its not that hard to understand?

I play Rdm as well in raid-progress so no im not hater but im also not so blind to see or say that Rdms flexibility and mistake forgiveness is "okay" compared to the oppertunities other cls have on their very own without support.
