Don't get rid of Protect

This has led to a situation where a lot of career healers simply write a macro in the game which casts Protect at the start then swaps it out for another, more interesting role skill instead for the rest of the run, effectively giving them 6 role actions instead of 5 since Protect only needs casting once.

Do you happen to have that macro handy? I never even thought to make one for protect, but that may not be a bad idea at this point.

I don't want to lose Fluid Aura, we have hardly any spells left as it is. Even watered down (heh) it's better than yet another space on my hotbar. Admittedly I seldom use it for anything sensible.

Until the problem is fixed I think it's a good way to make the best of the situation.
