So stop caring that some less skilled player might have the same reward as you a few seasons down the line.

For some reason I don't think people are going to magically become more skilled if the rewards are locked to the top 100. But by playing more often they will.... again the goal is to get people to play more. I think seasons 2 and 3 show how badly top 100 locked rewards alone are to getting people to play (don't forget, people are still getting top 100 rewards, that appears to still be locked).
