Dragoon 4.06 changes...

They remain at 290. The game does positional attacks/combo attacks by just having a different potency for those attacks.

As for the changes, they'll help a bit for those times when the boss spins, of you're in a move-and-die mechanic.

Thanks for clearing that up... i tend to use Northern Wind during times when i cant get positionals, but that is such a small part of the fights that these changes just seem like a kick in the D

Oh i didnt realize the chaos thrust potency nerf was just to when uncomboed which never happens. Thanks for clarifying, so overall these are good quality of life changes. There is no nerf to combo+rear Chaos thrust.

Still no fix or improvements of the whole LoTD mechanic.

You're crazy, it's a straight up buff in all regards. It slightly reduces the penalty when not meeting positionals, while buffing our overall damage.

Dragoons are far from being "dead in the water" and are still strong in every comp, LoTD issues aside they are pretty strong currently.

The only time this would be a dps loss is if you went full tard and tried to Chaos Thrust without combo. Otherwise dragoons got a SUBSTANTIAL dps increase IMO

I actually ran Stone Vigil HM last year with a dragoon who did nothing but spam Chaos Thrust over and over... Great, now people like him have even less reason to learn their job. ._.

I think that has been a troll move for awhile now, have heard of people doing this in the past.
