I'll post what i posted on the reddit post.

Little over a year ago this great girl messaged me outside the game cause she wants to move to Sweden and leave US for a better future. At first I was sceptic (its not uncommon for beautiful women message men for bad reasons in Sweden, at least to my experience) Which she poke fun at me to this day.

Anyway we started talking and we started play together a lot. We started talking a lot too. As friends. We joked around a lot about "what if we start get feelings for each other" well.. Shit happend and we fell in love after a few months of talking and we decided to try the whole long distance thing and it's hard, especially when you are 9 hours in front of her but i think we doing great and here we are - one year later and I can't imagine my life without her in it. The plan is we're gonna meet up soon too and I can't be more excited!

As for the game, we play everyday together and got married on x-mas day last year. Also i'm her sugerdaddy in game as a crafter lol

I met my beautiful significant other, not in a game, but in kindergarden. I have now known her 17 years, before she was my bestfriend, the first person to actually ever notice me that i existed, since i was a pushed away child, like so many out there. And now after all this time shes my best friend, my wife and my beating heart, i would not be the man today if not for her. We play ff xiv together for 4 years now and our chars love eachother like we love us. I am happy for does that found their love for their life and i hope for does who still seek it that they will find it.

A friend introduced us. She pulled me into a T9 run that she wanted to do undersized with myself, her, her girlfriend, another friend of hers, and my now boyfriend. It ended as terribly as you would expect. They left they group and him and I just stood together talking. We talked for like hours until he noticed the time and told me he had to head off to bed for work. We added each other as friends and went along our merry ways. Our friend kept dragging us in to stuff and we would end up talking for hours after. Now I'll admit that at first I thought he was a woman. I've got this thing where I'll assume the person behind the character is the same gender as their character until they tell me otherwise. He mentions he's a male and I realized I'm a goof and should have known from the start. At that point though I already kinda had a crush on him.
I left the game for about a month though due to some frustrations with things in game. I came back and ran into him in Gridania but I didn't realize it was him at first since he had a different name and was a catgirl. When I met him he was playing a FemRoe and I absolutely loved the way she looked because she was so pretty! I'm possibly very, very biased though. I convinced him to go back to his old name and he went FemRoe again too for me. We spent loads of time together and even exchanged Skype info so we could talk outside the game and through voice.
One night him and I are drinking and shooting the crap together when I just suddenly say to him "You're my boyfriend now!" Wasn't me asking, it was me telling him that he was mine now and I was his. He replies with "Okay!" and I'm just as happy as a clam. The next day he asked if I was serious and I said yes.
We've been together for a year and a half now and I don't think I've ever been this happy in my life. I love him so damn much that it honestly scares me sometimes.
