I'm not in any mood to do savage anymore. and The tomestone race just makes the relic chores that much more agonizing.
I regret the house in moments like these.

Yes, extremely dissapointed in SB continuing the formula of logon after reset and run the hamster wheel of roulettes while sitting around in the current endgame social area. I could live with it, if there were more variety (i.e. the ability to play another job as you would an alt in another game and continue running the content). I get that some like the side non character progression content (mounts, minions, glamours, beast quests, etc...), but personally I hate fluff activities. They could have done much better to satisfy more types of players.
Yes I'm bored. Paid the 180 day option since 2.0 release and I don't think I'll pay it again. Probably going to go month by month after each release and probably only pay for one month. Content dries up too damn quick for my liking and farming currencies to do that same thing again just for a different textured polygon doesn't warrant the cost. I have the Squall set and I'm not too interested in mounts since they offer literally nothing new to the game play.
I can't really word why this comment annoys me so much. It's like I'm being shamed for enjoying the game in longer sessions than deemed acceptable by you.I am fully okay with the content we have. The 3-4 hour time window in the evening where i can play is always filled with stuff to do.
I have a ton of jobs, crafters and achievements still not done, so....
EDIT: Oh and regarding your complaint about a missing grind fest: Yeah no. A normal person with a normal work who can only play for a (normal) few hours in the evening should not be lacking behind simply due to the fact he is normal and can't play 10h+ a day.
Actually yes the person that can play 10h+ a day should be rewarded more and be ahead of others. That is kind of the way the world works if you hadn't figured that out yet. You can put in 40 hours at your job and get payed the minimum for your position and not be considered for high value promotions. Or you can work 80 and be payed on the high end of the scale and be far more valued for promotions into management and leadership. Put in more effort and get more rewards, that is the very basis of our society today.I am fully okay with the content we have. I mean if your doing savage you could do all of it in crafted 320 gear so the complaint on not being able to take alts in there I do not understand , how many people have a full 340 set right now Its totally impossible atm. I honestly play about 10 plus hours a day haha thats alot and I dont really run out of stuff to do, I worry I will tho but in reality its very hard to run out of things to do. I think SE could add more to the game but I still believe no matter what they bring out people will rush through it and be right back here on the forums making post like this.
The complaint is, if I join some of my other friends in raid on an alt job to help them out after I have done it on my main. We both lose out on loot. So if a good friends static needs a healer for example, and I already did it on my SAM, I can't go help them and have some fun because it will harm more than help.I mean if your doing savage you could do all of it in crafted 320 gear so the complaint on not being able to take alts in there I do not understand , how many people have a full 340 set right now Its totally impossible atm. No developer was ever quoted to say that SB would have a 3x larger budget compared to HW.Yeah, this topic speaks volumes about how misleading SB turned out to be. None of that 3x budget thing was true because Stormblood is literally Heavensward with a new coat of paint. It's got nothing new in the endgame department at all and they still gate tomes after all these years. It's disappointing and SE have not learned a single thing from tome feedback or anything else. It's the same tired and boring formula.... i'm only on because I'm trying to finish savage but after that there's nothing left until next patch for me.
You are only speaking of people playing at a competition level or who think it matters to them (when it doesn't, as usual with any meta). That being said I'm sure they would gate the artefact progression if they had to do it again.
But anyway, I agree that rng is bad and that playing all of Legion's content could feel meaningless after a while if you didn't get your legendary (or a crappy one), but that's not my point. The fact is Legion uses its areas and it works. Something I would really like FF14 to try too.
My point isn't that FF14 should do the exact same thing as WoW, but that it should also use its world more. I mean FF14 has beautiful areas and it's been bothering me since ARR that it doesn't bring players into them. World Quest is something that I enjoyed doing in WoW and I'd love something along those lines in FF14. I don't mean by that the exact same copy as it wouldn't work in FF14, but something similar that would give me a reason to play outside its cities.
