Then...glam? There is plenty of armour in the game that isn't robe-like, and I'm saying that as a person who mains a caster.

People really have to top it with their "then glam" !
The new expansion is here, we shouldn't be forced to glam 90% of the new gear (I'm not saying I am). Robes for healers/casters, ok... But robes for EVERY jobs...? Come on ! It's time for S.E to renew a bit their way of designing gear for some classes. Oh and if I may add... They should stop LONG BOOTS too...

What do you mean forced? Whether gear looks nice or not is most times down to personal taste. SE can't please everyone because it's simply impossible. No one is being forced to glam. It's an option if you don't like how something looks.
But when players feel the need to have to glamour everything, then it's not that much of an option, now is it?
Also, I don't mind robe armors, especially since they aren't nearly as bad as the endless supply of thigh boots in the game.

I main a caster and I don't like how most caster gear looks so I glam all the time. But I recognise it's not because the gear looks bad, that it's because they're not to my personal taste. I don't feel forced to glam. I feel liberated by glamming because it means I'm not forced to wear something I dislike.

This is pretty much me as well. I already have nice sets I put together to wear and glamour any new set that looks like crap. Even if it doesn't and not my style, I will glamour over it to look how I was looking prior. It is nice to find new cool pieces and a lot of the time they are ruined by skirts or huge unnecessary spikes, but I just glamour over it and wait until I get something cool to wear. If you haven't found any piece to your liking throughout your journey in this game, then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you're too picky. In the end, they should diversify their sets a little more though. Skirts, spikes, bad color schemes and my OCD problem, asymmetric pieces tend to ruin sets. I hope they do listen to our comments and try to change it up.I main a caster and I don't like how most caster gear looks so I glam all the time. As far as long boots go, I would really like more plain boots that don't go past the knee. Too many do. I like my starlight boots, but I wish I could get a version without the snowflakes on the side.

What I really want is glamming to be tied to classes, not gear. I have the same glam on all three healers because of this. I really would like to be able to have them all look different given that their class storylines are very different. It's boring for anyone who likes playing classes that share gear to look the same all the time despite not playing the same class all the time.

It's also OK to wish for more armor that is in your taste.I main a caster and I don't like how most caster gear looks so I glam all the time. i also dont like robes gear. it looks wack. coats FTW
Must be getting tired. I read the thread title as "I'm tired of the Robo-looking armor..", and didn't recall anyone running around looking like a robot.
