No point in glamouring, when most of the glamour looks exactly the same anyways.
I hate to rely on "Glamour-made" outfits too. I'm glamouring the same stuff I have been for years.
:/ They just need better designs on their gear all around. So I agree with OP.

I must be blind because I never realized that most glamour looked identical. Thank you for opening my eyes to this.

1 As mentioned many times before by so many people, glamouring needs to be linked to class not the item of gear so my blm, smn and rdm can have unique looks even with the same gear equipped.

SE, please, its only common sense to offer this..sheesh!

please improve the glamour design asap

    2. tired of robes? yes and tired of the "long stiff coat tail" look as well. and enough leggings and stockings attached to skirts ...holy guacamole batman, enough

Having some like this is perfectly fine!!! but 90% of gear?...please no.

    3. I use lv 1 gear 99.9% of the time for all glamour (which is kinda sad really) battle gear ,especially from tomes /dungeons/raids is usually horrid.

Harsh, but I cant say it any other way for any longer lol.

Much agree to the "No robes" part.

Many pant-pieces have belts and such attached to them and its a shame the myriad robe and shirt items makes them go away.

And if the skirt is neccesary, attach them to the pant part so i can choose some better fitting ones. Attaching the skirt to the chest piece makes my cone-y body look like a bell. Not good.

+1 to glamour based on class!

Would also like more options than robes or skirts. I mentioned it in one of the sub forums, but I love how the Sky Pirate aiming chest looks, and the other physical ranged DPS sets too. Would love them for a red mage! Add a little bit more armor - we're tough, we can take it! /psych /flex

And more talismans/tattoo-like items too for all classes.

As someone who likes the "flowy" stuff, Personally wish most of the "dress" "skirt" or "coat" like part over the legs were actually apart of the legs.
i pretty much have only have a handful of leg options, as all the "flowy" outfits I like, are attached to the body (and i tend to dislike the upper part its attached to) and the leg stuff either looks weird, or doesnt match the body.
sometimes the "skirt" of an outfit would look fantastic with another upper body, but thats almost never possible.
Then for MOST body armor, a bit goes below the belt, and then overrides any "flowy" leg attachments. (an example, the Lv63 Healer legs, have this bow on them, that looks great, but almost every shirt removes the bow, as the shirt extends below the belt. which by default removes all extra bits of ur legs)

This is one of my biggest issues... There are so many things that shouldn't have the bottom part attached to them, but do. For example, I'd actually like the Genji healer chestpiece if the skirt weren't part of it....and there's absolutely no reason for the skirt not to be the bottom model, the pants are COMPLETELY covered as part of the set.

There is no apostrophe in Au Ra.
Stop adding one three years later.

To be honest, I can't say I've noticed any robe armor beyond the SAM AF I predicted.
