Why can't they just put a channel per server like other mmo have?

Regarding the payment. It says on your objective that Final Fantasy 14 will be compatible for hardcore gamers and casual gamers. It is a bit unfair for casual gamers like myself to pay for a 30 days even though I am only playing half of the time (or less). Is it possible for your good office to maybe have an option for casual gamers to pay 30- gaming days, meaning whenever a player logs-in it is consider as 1 game day. Unlike the payment method that you've said before, the 30 days runs consecutively doesnt matter if you play or not.

I don't like the idea of separating the servers by culture. I really like the way they are now and there doesn't seem to be much wrong with it. Just because a few people have encountered problems with others doesn't mean its because of a language barrier. Most of the arguments happen over people that speak the same language anyways.

just say no to divided servers.
its a great idea. jps are hella emo.

If we get our own dedicated servers that would result in a better game experience, great.
If it's simply to divide us because of a few racists, then no.

Compared to these forums, I think you have that alittle wrong. NAs are absurdly emo... about everything.
If the NA population is large enoguh I can see a regional server working... but then again I expect more of an Aion situation... where you end up with very sparsely populated servers which causes an exodus of players in a game that is not really dying on a global scale.
If there is like 7-8k players on the NA servers they will work because enough will be on in off hours as well... if it is like XI where you cap at maby 4.5-5k players a server a primes then regional will suck. 4k people online for 5 hrs, then 300-500 players online the rest of the day is just eww.
Honestly I see what happened in Aion happening at 2.0. The NA/EU servers failing hardcore and the rest of the world going strong, why I will not touch a regional server on this game... too many NA/EUs have marked this game a unfixable failure for it to ever succeed enough for a region specific situation outside Japan.
As for the cross server dungeon finder helping get more friends, those people are not friends they are tools to get your own gear... chances are you will never see them again after you group with them once. That is the negative of dungeon finder.
Was one thing that was great in XI the server was never dead, was always activity 24/7. Losing that for "0" gain... they are keeping the language specific servers in Japan so yea lag will not go away which the only benefit of a regional server. I really really fail to see the point in having them the way they where currently described.
I like being able to play during any hour of the day. The JP players have also touched on the idea of being able to switch through regional channels but lets face it in FF its not possible
nope sorry. NA's will party with anyone at anytime does not really matter who the person is as long as they can play the game. Japanese on the other hand have such a huge grudge with NA's because we talk hella junk in /say or just cause we are NA's lol. Lets be real Japanese will go hide in there little hole/server just so they can stay away from USA. I don't care really i scammed my fair share of jp's so let them go hide in their own servers.

That's pretty disgraceful. I now feel like I am part of the Asshole NA population because of you.nope sorry.
