You have to think of the long-term effects and how a cash shop can change not only the game, but an entire company. Think if CoD had a cash shop where you pay to have the best weapons? That wouldn't be fair though would it? Just put it that way.

and that is where th e"no cash shop" thing is flawed, no one here is asking to pay to get all the best stuff, if you look many of the pro cash shop people are talking about just fluff/vanity items, that would have no impact on game balance what so ever.

Even if it it just fluff items, that only makes it an excuse to play the game for free and never have to pay any money to experience the full game. Sure other people will have those items but in the long run it ends up hurting the company financially. Like i said, different companies have different goals.
