As I said originally, characters themselves got a 40% inventory increase, which is quite a bit. Expanding inventory more will not help, as people will find more things to hold on to. Its not inventory that needs expanding. There needs to be a compromise between the devs adding in certain functions, and the players not holding on to every single thing in existence just in case they may need it at some point.

With all the turmoil and disconnects during the expansion launch, im pretty glad i didnt lose anything, due to the way they do character backups. I bet if they did the opposite, and changed that to add more inventory, instead of this thread, you would see one complaining about people losing stuff during said instability problems.

At risk of misinterpretation, I think the poster is wondering why your finding the suggested changes less than vital personally is reason enough to argue against them, as the placement of your replies over the last pages would suggest. Just my best guess.

Thus far, you don't seem to have determined that the suggested changes would come at a cost to any more worthwhile venture or development path; rather, you seem to argue against it solely because you feel that others have conflated its importance, regardless of what portion realistically stands. I apologize if I've misunderstood. But, perhaps they are waiting to hear what the game actually stands to lose from a quality of life improvement such as the ones suggested?
Why thank you, pretty much sums up what I meant.

I agree that with new space there will be people finding more stuff to fill it up and return to square one. A balance has to be struck at some point, but currently I think we are too far titled on the other end. There are standards in terms of what can be achieve in the aspect of inventory space. SE has given the option to access to more stuff (one character, all jobs) but fail to keep up with the other competitors in terms of effective methods to save space. Examples have been listed by other users in the thread. People keep mentioning that players should work on inventory management, I agree, but I also think SE should work on efficiency to reduce memory footprint and item bloat.

Eh... no. To be honest, most of the post are more along the lines of "this isn't a problem for me, hence it isn't a problem" than whatever you're trying to claim. Once again, inventory management is important, but it's not the final solution for everyone. Yes, there are extreme hoggers that keep even the damn strand of hair a random NPC dropped just because reasons, but I believe it's safe to say that they are the minority. However the rest of the players who decided to dip into every single piece of content provided by the game shouldn't be punish in terms of convenience when other competitors have already proven solutions are possible for said situation.

Just take a look at how the stuff from kupo store and special event which cost real life cash can't even be stored into armoire or repurchase from NPC (aka hogging inventory slots) and tell me that you honestly believe with all your heart that there is seriously no intentional inventory bloat going on in the game.

Valid concern, however, I'm not sure if you didn't read or I miss out on something, but most of the suggestions are actually more on offloading existing items elsewhere (you know, to improve storage efficiency) rather than expanding on the inventory on hand. Theoretically speaking, since the suggestions are to move it off our character to somewhere where it shouldn't require constant read/write operations, it shouldn't be affected by any roll back issues. Can someone else who also play other MMOs share their view regarding rollback and its effect on stuff like glamour logs and a bigger currency window?
