[Request] Please make event gear harder to get outside of in-game events.

Special snowflake eh? Yeah, like that insult has never been used before. As I said in my post, it's about encouraging active participation in events and of course remaining subscribed. But yes, I do think that you should have to participate in an event to receive its rewards. You snooze, you lose.

Or you snooze, you buy it off the Mogstation and I get it free.

I've been around for these events. I do not care if you want to buy the stuff off Mogstation. I've got mine! It doesn't mean less to me because you have it too! But I'm an adult so I'm of an entirely different mindset.

Exclusive perks help drive sales during certain periods (example, pre-ordering a game). Heck, it's driven me to pre-order a few things myself. It's a valid business tactic.

Especially when you factor in current prices, the Yo Kai mount will probably be about £7 assuming it follows the same single character bound system as the White Devil/Red Baron. That's less than a month's sub, even at entry level! I can certainly see why it would upset some people, since you can only buy subs in minimum blocks of 1 month.

That Yo-Kai event was insane. Just doing the FATE grinding I leveled a Conjurer from about level 12 to a level 35 WHM before the FATEs were out of her range due to other field monsters.

LOL, it wasn't insane, it didn't take very long, and I got all the weapons I needed, I didn't bother with the 2nd mount, though I could have.

What is the point of offering event rewards in game to players who participate in an event, if that gear is then later offered to everyone regardless of participation via the MogStation.

If you already have the event item and later the event item are available on mogstation then congrats, you've saved yourself a few bucks.

Yeah, there's no inconsistency in my posts. I'm not the one complaining that gear that was designed an implemented in game should be made available via the MogStation because I missed the event for <insert reasons>. Demanding that event items be made available seems to me to be case of entitlement since you missed the event itself, so why should the gear be made available outside the game so you can obtain it for $$? Entitlement?

RNG hates me. I worked for Atma for weeks and had a grant total of 3 Atma stones to show for it. So, don't talk to me about RNG...
