Yes, new people have been around forever, is what you basically said here. This is a good thing. So keep in mind...

--Playing with new people causes struggles.

--When you play with strangers, you're going to have people who are just flatout bad at games trying to do their campaign.

--If someone is playing poorly, there's nothing wrong with politely coaching them in what is proper, and vote kicking if they don't listen.

These are basic grievances about attempting teamwork and motor reflexes with people you haven't met--and sometimes, even if you do everything, it still won't come together. Having "noobs" is a sign of a healthy MMORPG. It's a positive symptom of casual Final Fantasy gamers having to suddenly work with other people. If they don't listen to instruction remove them, but do try to be patient. Not everyone is accustomed to "grinding" dungeons.

Because generally the mobs come in groups of three, which is less overall dps than most single targets. Now with a good healer I can grab 6 and we can have fun, but those appear rare and I can't leave defiance because I need the hp boost and the 20 reduction from ib.

I think you interpreted my response in a more negative light than it was intended. The "dumb noob" bit was more a jab at myself than anyone else, but I should clarify that I don't fault people for being new. I enjoy helping new players as long as they're willing to be helped. Makes the game feel more rewarding. And knowing where I came from makes it easier to handle runs with players like that. My point in my post was that there will always be players who underperform for one reason or another. And while I don't always attempt to coach everyone, Im never the one to cause a fuss over it. I'm not mad at these players because I don't know their stories. I remember how I used to be. Everyone has to learn sometime. Doesn't mean that some runs don't make you wanna tear your hair out though lol as I said, I just laugh it off because it's a game.

Yeah I suppose I was being a bit uptight. It is agonizing to deal with bad players. I've just finally learned it's easier to just talk to people 90% of the time. FF is worse because it draws franchise fans who don't really play other games.

I just get frustrated when in groups the people, someone boils over into rage at the bad player, and tilt the group. Particularly because I play WHM and healers are pretty easy in the scaling system, we can always still finish the dungeon.

I'm losing out on time if halfway through some guy ragequits or starts a typing war or vote over under-performance and I have to start a second queue, and I only play tank and healer.
