WHY CAN'T YOU JUST ACCEPT AN OPTION TO BE ABLE TO TURN JUMPING OFF? Why the hell do you have to shove your morality down my throats and demand that I like whatever the hell you like? I have no problem if people want a jumping feature, so long as I have the option TO TURN IT OFF, why can't you accept a middle road? If I had to guess, it's probably because you're not smart enough to accept that people don't like the same thing you like.



Do you know what context is? Get a clue. I was quoting someone wanting 3-dimensional features, which implies they want a... MMO-PLATFORMER. That's the ONLY way jumping would be even functional, and I did not buy an MMORPG for it to just turn into some silly kiddy-platformer game.

P.S. I'm not even a FF fanboy, the only FF games I've even remotely liked were VIII, X, X-2, and XI. For the most part, I've found the FF series to be quite lacking (but hey, you'll just disregard this like another idiot and still claim I'm calling you names because you can't understand the difference between calling someone something and equating their actions with something).

Okay, maybe they should make a tedious/hard quest that requires defeating an 18hr Pandaemonium Warden just to obtain the ability to jump. There, I compromised even more!

I don't get what point you are trying to make. All I said was that there can't be a middle ground for a jump feature. You either have it or you don't. You want them to blurr out people while they are jumping? Or them to look like they are still walking through an object when they actually jump over it?

Second... that reminded me.. I had a dream last night that they implemented jump and there was no room for it on the controller.. And SE was like "Sorri gaiz! haz to uze keybrd!" But it was locked to the space bar.. I couldn't change it to another key, so every time I went to type my character jumped around like a dumb***. :x That dream sucked. lol
True story. (That's what I get for reading forums before bed. lol)

Edit: If jumping looks terrible I would also like an option to not see it. I don't care if people are sliding/running up hills. That I can ignore. Bouncing all over, I cannot.
