This has been the description on the FFXIV page for THM since prerelease. It is literally the first of the classes lore. The same lore that so many here desire to swear up and down does not link THM to being BLM.

You are using an analogy that can be used to describe practically any high damage dealing class/mob/npc to prove your "point" now?.. OK.
