That's not how purchasing power works. In other countries, we earn our local currency, NOT USD. Different minimum wages too. Imagine if you had to pay almost 50 bucks a month to play. I remember I could never get to play subscription based games when I was younger, because I grew up in Malaysia, and 15 USD translated to RM60. We don't get paid in USD! We get paid in Ringgit! Which means we have to put in substantially much more work to pay for these translated prices, which for a lot of us meant not playing it at all.

It's so easy for people to say this stuff when they get to live in the country that these prices are based around!
