    Am I the only one that's disappointed that they only implemented the winning armor set from the tank design contest.

    I was hoping we'd get tank/ranged dps/healer sets at the same time. Booooo.

    The current healer equivalent based on the tank design makes me feel like a storm trooper.

    Yes I find it bad that they used different kind of competitions and now they use the gear for each job. Does that mean that this will happen with the DD and healer winners too? Is this the expansion of the same looking gear sets? I mean it was already bad for me that the omega gear was the same for any job but they do the same with the tomestone gear too? Yes there it looks a bit different but at least with the winner sets all jobs would have their own kind of gear for it. (Well in the end its just easier for them since they now can use these winners for 3 whole new sets..)

    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

    I think they're more or less implementing each winning design as its own "line," with the other roles getting sets SE designs based off the winner.

    To be honest, I'm okay with this. I haaaaated the winning healer design but adored the caster dps one. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing the healer version of the caster dps design. It's also kinda nice that every job gets to have something related to the contest winner - even if it's not aesthetically to taste.

    (But ffs make things dyeable...)
