You're completely lost in how classes work in FF. Specially in XIV, the only reason SMN has access to Physick and raise is because it shares a base class with a healer, SE's awkward double job design that never happened again and they don't even know how to split at this point. Simply put, if SMN and SCH didn't share the same base class, SMN wouldn't even have raise. The only reasonable complaint about all of this is the removal of Sustain, which SE should bring it back. Yoshi's reasoning to it was because players are suposed to move pets behind targets so they don't get damaged, but Yoshi doesn't seem to know the difference between cleaves and aoes, specially when pet is busy on an attack and won't move in time. You're trying to get your SMN pet regen back by nerfing a different job that is suposed to use both white and black magic, where's the logic in that lol. Another point is, as mentioned in another post, RDM is a dps. Anything they do outside of dpsing is a dps loss, even more if it hurts your MP with raises. They wanted to make the players feel like RDM was a hybrid like in every past FF titles in a trinity game, giving the player useless white magic that they're never suposed to use. I could dare to say if they wanted to remove Vercure and Verraise, we wouldn't care less, we're DPS. Only those who want the RDM feel of jack of all trades in past titles would care about this for lore purposes.
