Does that directly affect my own abilities? No. But I have a vested interest in the game mechanics that I would like to see balanced correctly, and not be put into a state of imbalance because some people didn't put in the effort to get it done. We saw it repeatedly in heavensward and I don't want to see it in stormblood as well.

Edit: as for your final point, I do help, because that is the point of the content, to prepare and educate people for harder content. A nerf would completely destroy that concept.

I am annoyed at your post because you promote the idea of holding the game hostage with subs. Something which has been used to force content to be dumbed down for the lazy, not for the inexperienced, and that's not fair on the players or the game itself.
Do you know a large percentage of the player base will never enter savage omega? Would you be surprised to hear that a lot of players in this game wont even bother entering savage content and are happy to play the normal modes for the story.

There is a reason why there are 2 tiers of contents in this game, it is to allow everyone to experience content, I'm not sure where the hostage situation comes into it.

As I have said in every post I've posted i this thread, I'm not personally affected by any changes to this dungeon but I feel the requests for the content to be altered are coming from those who are affected.
