My main is whm and for the most part (excluding PI) I am thrilled with how it's doing.

From what I've heard, scholar, machinist and summoner all need some help.

This is true, WHM is in a very good spot, been my main for over 5 years. The only skill I feel that need more work is PI, it has a good idea behind it, but I feel it need more love. I say make it a Aoe skill, and make the confessions stack for any heal done to a target. This will make PI much more usefull.

Give PI a higher CD timer and make it a Aoe, well making confession stacks something every heal a WHM done, not just Cure.also take the countdown timer off of confession stacks. (Like a bigger Cure 3 with a long CD timer that can only be used with PI and Stacks)

It will make you save it for big o shit Aoe heal when everyone is to far away for cure 3 and you NEED TO TOP OFF ASAP. Sure we have a few good Aoe alrdy, but not a power house o shit one, on the same LV as cure 3. We don't need more single target power heals, we have like 4-5 -__-

You pop Embolden to increase your damage before your big burst as RDM, yes. Sorry I don't cater my one cooldown to other peoples burst moments.

Most DPS are popping their raid wide buffs at the same time it's optimal for them for the opener, and every DPS is usually at their optimal point as well, if they are playing correctly. Through out most fights, most raid wide buffs are being popped during points where you yourself can make most of it, and that is also typically when everyone else can make the most of it, too. It happens through natural play.

If other people mismanage their resources, and aren't ready, that's their own fault.

Worst idea that anyone ever has. This is how you get power creep. When you adjust things up to the new outlier rather than fixing the small amount of problems, you just make a new stronger baseline. That means that the new content has to be that much stronger. Then the next time something is a little too strong, you adjust again. And the cycle keeps repeating and soon content that was put in to be relevant is completely pointless. We already have bad enough power creep to the point where old content in this game is a snooze-fest due to severe over-gearing. We don't need to hasten it any further or this is going to become WoW where our characters have millions upon millions of hitpoints and we do 5million dps. No thank you!

EDIT: Also this 'power creep' you're so afraid of is an inevitability as an MMO goes on, which is probably why millions of dps is the norm in WoW. It's been around for forever.

No, it's not. Both are bad and unhealthy for the state of the game. It's completely okay to criticize HOW Square Enix has nerfed their overperforming classes in Stormblood, but IMO it's not okay to be so resistant to the idea of nerfs ever happening again in any way.

Never left, want to curl up and die more. I think smn/scholar were very complete as jobs in 3.0 and they probably suffered through the new role skill concept as it add elements to their class that is outside their core design or taken things from their core design and given it to everyone else and offered nothing back in their place. They really ripped us apart and put us together the wrong way

So you put yourself above your party in a team play situation? Do you play bard ,and fail to change songs because your deeps may lower too?.

1. The only Bard song that does anything specific for the party is Foe Requiem. The others are now just dps gains for the bard.

2. Absolutely. I assure you the dragoon didn't pop battle litany when they did for the party benefit. It just happens to have a nice side effect of ALSO providing a crit up for the rest of the party. Embolden is the same.
