So it's okay to tell people they can't do something just because you can't do it, but it's wrong to tell people it's possible if good people can do it?
Warrior is quite a bit worse than drk atm but yes the do both need buffs. See drk is way to play and has raid utility in the form of tbn it's also do similar dps. War has zero raid utility and is the most complex and skill requiring tank we have ever had to still do the same damage. All of wars potencies are lower than the other two across the board and both drk and pld get more buff uptime. Its also the most heavily penalised for swapping stances as all of its dps is tied to it's gauge which is not the case for the other two tanks.
Remember how Rauban got his arm cut off? That's pretty much the warrior class right now. They were once incredible, easily the best tank in 3.x. But not so in SB. I mained war in 2.x and 3.x, but made the conscious decision to switch to drk several months before we even heard of SB. I'm so glad I did.
I'm a WAR main I switched over to DRK. In 8 man content setting the only reason I would use WAR is if I'm OT the whole fight or with the help of shirk, MT in dps stance the whole fight cuz WAR still has higher dmg then DRK. If I have to stance dance a bunch of times it eats my dps by a lot.
For DRK their dmg is pretty stable and there's no gauge penalty from droping grit so if your OT or MT your dmg will be fine but your potential dmg will still be lower then WAR or PLD
Yep that's why in all the EX fights I swap in dps stance with shirk. This way i can maintain 2600-2800 dps.Warrior is quite a bit worse than drk atm but yes the do both need buffs. See drk is way to play and has raid utility in the form of tbn it's also do similar dps. I see 10 WAR's that have been able to break 3K dps. I see 51!!! Pally that can do it... regardless of buffs etc that would indicate that at the minimal it is much easier for a pally to do.See the problem with people just blindly linking and sharing the manner in which a few people "analyze" data is that they're not understanding it to begin with. 95th percentile doesn't tell you the DPS potential for a job. You have to look at max values and then cull the buffs like The Balance/etc from them.
Any WAR MT points start and end with, "can you be in dps stance as a main tank the full fight?" The loss of the kit in Def is just too great, and really nothing the other two tanks (most notably Pally) have to deal with. With regards to the skill floor, yes and no, it will be up to your party correctly managing there aggro kits, and healers healing a always Del WAR. Really has nothing to do with the skill of the WAR player itself.

Everyone brings up the beast gauge dropping by 50% when you switch but Paladin does the exact same thing and you don't hear PLD's complaining about it.Warrior sucks ass now lol. Like it's really bad. The class us ultra clunky because of that fucking beast gauge wwhich takes away a whopping 50% of your current rage which a lot of your offensive GCDs that makes the class fun (fell cleaves, upheaval, inner release) are locked behind, so it puts you in a situation where you either stay in defiance for a while or stay in deliverance, changing too much means you're forever trying to build the gauge back up.
Optimal rotation is by far the most difficult to pull off and can change depending on fight phases, sudden pushes etc,the class has ZERO utility and does around the same dps as the other tanks....wtf is the point in warrior? there is none and until SE fixes this, you'll see a lot less of them, because I for one have and a lot pf warriors I know has quit playing that godawful class where you have to have a PhD in mathematics to pull an optimal rotation with very little reward (the same dps as the other tanks).
Ok then let me ask you how many offensive abilities does paladins has that cost gauge? Cuz war has 6, 4 of them cost 50 gauge and 2 of them cost 20 gauge.
