He never said he was upset about Sam being called easy, he simply said some are calling their class harder than the nest.

There are even more popular games that are considered difficult because of the amount of depth in the game and not because the are mechanically frustrating. This is truth and while opinions may vary like you stated, why would it then be wrong for anyone of any class to assume their job is harder or easier than the next?

So my take is this, mechanically frustrating is not difficulty. At this point, anyone saying that it is is just as much of an opinion as mine and makes you no more right or wrong than anyone else here. So then I ask, what would be wrong with anyone defending the ease/difficulty of their said choice of class, and then who are you or anyone else for that matter to tell that
person any different?

Pointless thread with almost everyone naming their main job as the hardest and/or one of the two new jobs as the easiest, despite only having played 1-2 jobs at 70

Let's not play dumb. His level 70 class is SAM. The general consensus even amongst Red Mage players is that the class is easy to use and easy to master. Almost every single time someone has posted about SAM being easy there's been a self-righteous SAM player who immediately has to say "no, you're wrong!"

Fact of the matter is, most Samurai players will never agree with everyone else and I'm fine with that.

I have never said to someone "Your opinion is wrong, my opinion is right." In all the heated debate around SAM I have never once flat-out said "You're wrong!"

People are free to argue or debate what they disagree. My problem is when people try to tell people factually what "difficulty" is. My reiteration is only to inform you that you are of the minority. No matter how many times you state that mechanically frustrating does not equal difficulty, most people will not agree with you and you must accept that.

I personally like receiving insight or opinions from forum posters, even if I disagree with them. I only posted in reply to that particular post because it didn't even attempt to hide the attitude and sheer irritation in it. "Pointless thread," followed by heavy implications that every opinion posted here is invalid. Do you not see the ego in that?
