tanking is indeed fun but ppl like to make a drama just bcs they need to use tank stance how hurt they parsers.

i read you post and yeah tank stances need to change, the actual system is not working with the comunity and if stay like now the drama never go to stop, they need to make you dealt the same performance in both stances but with some extras for tank stance that help you as a MT and meaby some gameplays diferences but still being able to dealt the same performance, just make a one true way to tank

It's not just the tank stances for me. My point about the tank stances was that it only has a damage penalty because SE thinks it should have one.

I can watch Netflix while tanking most bosses. That is my major problem with tanking. It's not engaging. Especially with Warrior now. Like if you give up all damage on Warrior, you can rotate your mitigation cooldowns with Inner Beast and never run out of CDs. If I watched Netflix while tanking in TERA, I would get wrecked as a tank.

yeah thats why bosses need to be less scriped and have random tank busters or even more types of tankbuster making tanks swaps not being only bcs we get X debuff but more bcs we run out of cds and need swap to refresh, but i dont think something like this will be added bcs SE will think the other tank dont never know when you run out of CD or something like that

To be fair, TERA's gameplay mechanics are very different from FFXIV (I left tera at around 2013). The mechanics of a tera warrior are way more punishing than an FFXIV warrior, if you pay minimal attention to the encounter. Lots of timing and quick reflexes is required for them, but less so for eorzean warriors.

That's my entire point. In TERA you needed to pay attention or you would get punished hard. Here it's like meh you make a mistake the healer would just fix it no problem. You shouldn't be able to watch Netflix while playing, because imo that defeats the whole purpose of playing a game (having fun and being engaged).

Judging by how easy it is to tank everything in stormblood so far without tank stance, I'm going to assume that "they need to use tank stance how hurt they parsers" is not why people are upset.
