This is a networking issue, not server capacity.Getting huge amounts of lag in anywhere that isn't the major cities, tried doing some PotD and I get disconnects every 10-15 seconds making the game utterly unplayable. I'm in the UK and playing on Odin (EU).
Stormblood has been a total shitshow from launch to present with almost daily issues. Someone at SE needs to acknowledge server capacity is a huge problem right now and either fix it, or tell us they won't be fixing it so we can all go give our money to some other game that gives us what we pay for.

Probably a little from column A and a little from column B. My actual connection to the game is usually pretty decent. Very little packetloss overall (less than 0.01% loss most of the time) and latency is fine most of the time. What I'm seeing mostly are requests for information from the server just being ignored or refused which causes the client to throw because it doesn't know what to do about that (psst... send the request again). So the servers are clearly overwhelmed. Now add to that people connecting from Europe or some other distant location and it becomes ridiculous very quickly.
