How is paying $40 a month (or even $80 a month) for a house any different than paying for additional retainers?

Because for something so desired as housing putting it in the cash shop, especially for such an exorbitant fee (like really, are you trolling?) is basically an incentive to SE to never fix the problem, in direct conflict with the hopes of most of these aspiring homeowners.

Additional retainers impact the market. They shouldn't exist in the first place.

Two retainers is entirely inadequate for anyone making serious use of the MB due to both storage requirements for crafting stock and the need for additional MB slots.
