22.7gb update after relogging?

Ah, okay, seems like a pretty f-ed up fix even if it also is the most straight forward. I have no idea if I should just wait for SE to get a real fix for it because this will take forever to download either way.

And yeah, what I meant to ask was basically if the people who had downloaded it several times were filling up their hard drives with this update over and over. I suppose my confusion also partly comes from the fact that I have no idea what these 20gb actually are, what do they consist of exactly?

They have handed the issue to Sony and they are working on a fix. My theory is that it may not be an issue with FFXIV, but an issue which SB exposed with the PS itself. Not something SE can comment on outside of 'Sony is taking care of it'.

Think of it as: Your entire game got deleted. You now have to redownload the entire game again. So it's everything.
