I am really hoping they fix this tonight, because this is one bug that literally makes the game unplayable for PS4 users. I've been trying to download my thing again since yesterday and so far it's been more than 10h. T_T

I just finished my 2nd download within 2 days and now I'm back to "unable to obtain character data due to server congestion" as a starting screen. No queue. I'm having this for one hour now. Doesnt even give me a count.

I've played the game only once since the begining of the EA.

I'm having the same issues, especially in the evening when my server is overrun but around midnight i can normally access.
maybe it's the same with your server?

The dev. team is currently looking into the issue where the large patch is re-applied any time a power outage occurs on the PlayStation®4. We believe this is mainly occurring due to the power outage causing game files to be corrupted, which triggers the software to redownload the patch. We will follow up with any updates we receive, but in an effort to minimize the issue, we ask that users follow the standard shutdown procedure for the PS4, aside from cases that are beyond your control like unexpected power outages.

I'm sorry but this is very VERY VERY disappointing. especially for ppl like me that has limited gb download and this has occured to me for the 3rd time now. I won't be even be able to play the game at some point and that's a Sub wasted for the month.

ps4 users should get a few days on their sub or something. Seriously paying 20 extra dollars just for the early access and spent hardly any time in game.
