They could also give up and just split the server. Instead they are giving some incentives. *shrugs*Here's an idea: give players either a shit ton of gil (add inflation) or free game time (a month or two or three) for moving because we're forced to fix their problem for them. They clearly don't want to rewrite the backend code to allow server scaling. So give us money instead!
They should do that. then everyone can bitch they are on different servers than their friends. "SE isn't fixing it, they don't care" "SE WHY YOU SPLIT THE SERVER, NOW I CANT PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS!"
If they forced split, they need to give a few weeks before they do so, so people can figure out with friends/FC/family on where to go.
I still think the game suffers from people just AFKing for hours on end. Because HW didn't have all these ongoing, almost 2 weeks worth of problems
so people just chill out and afk. Pipinbahun killed us terribly. That and SE screwed us by allowing the loophole to Balmung transfer for far too long.
Balmung suffers as of late:
- Random 90k.
- EA was a mess, still suffering from it.
- Bursting population.
- New Expac out.
- DF broken every now and then.
- Crashes.
A lot of things going on so Q times are so damn bad lol.
It's a shame they took this long to stop the transfers. :/
