We all SAM mains now.

Me too,leveling SAM at the moment and my instinct tells me that this job might take my monk's place ...

Sadly SE abandoned monk since 3.0.
While the damage is still good the utility is neglectable and you might aswell take a SAM instead. It's not helping that both wear the same gear as you'll only want one of them in your group.
So much for the Monk expansion...

I'm so upset and frustrated. I have mained monk since FFXIV started, even from 1.0...I feel so let down. I don't want to give up on monk but I feel they definitely left this class behind. Other classes seems to have new, cool shiny skills and monks just got mehhh...-_-

What should MNK be?

I think the developers must've been asking themselves the same thing but only got to "dunno" before Stormblood went live. We were meant to be the no-utility, selfish, top DPS until they decided to give that to Samurai because reasons. Now they have no idea what to do with us, so just stuck us in the bin.
