The extra 3 doesn't change anything. It's still Split > Slug > Split > Clean. Adding the extra 3 only reverses the order and isn't necessary.

What? Of course it matters, the "extra 3" guarantees a proc of the next chain, its a ton of damage. The difference between getting the whole combo ammo'd up and the chance of not getting to clean shot again in time for wildfire is huge, not to mention ammo itself adds potency.

Cmon back on topic boys. How fun you find Machinist at lvl 70. Do you enjoy playing it for quests, fates, dungeons, etc? I decided to main machinist as I cant find myself in any other job. Heated version animations of attacks look a bit over the top but will see.

Very much loving the heated animations. A lot like curving bullets from the movie Wanted. Makes spamming Split Shot a lot less painful compared to HW days because it sounds so much more powerful and is visually better to look at. Loving how often I can toss a Wildfire into every pull instead of waiting for so many CDs to come back up as to get that "perfect" Wildfire rotation. I can still get roughly 9-10k on average (at i309) just weaving it in alongside Rapid Fire whenever and as soon as they are both up. CDs of Gauss Round and Ricochet are short enough that they both or at least one will be up during the Wildfire burst. Still cant find an ideal situation for me to comfortably sacrafice a turret or purposefully overheat my GB outside of AoEing.

Side note: Took on SSSA12S earlier to see how fast I can down it at i309. Got it with 1:10 left on the clock no pots and food. Compared to 10 seconds left with an i270 in HW. I feel that is underwhelming parse wise.

At level 64, you get a trait that changes Split, Slug, and Clean to new, overheated abilities with new (and awesome) animations.

I absolutely hate MCH now, feel bored half the time running around spamming buttons waiting for the GCD to reset at times. I enjoyed having a class that had huge variations in player skill and you could tell when someone was really good at playing their class. I can understand wanting to level the playing field but doesn't mean i have to like it. I want my class back yoshi-pls

As a MCH main of 3.0 the whole expansion, 4.0 is wonderfully fun.
