Props for RDM, Devs!

It lacks some good AoE abilities tho for a mage.
Scatter isn't very a strong AoE ability and isn't even worth using if there's not plenty of mobs, and Enchanted Moulinet is good but you need to build your gauges for it and it takes too much time to just deal AoE damage at the moment you need it, plus usable 3 times max if you have 90/90

Well the AoE damage of RDM is decent enough i would say since you cast one AoE instantly afterwards you normally casted one (its about 800 - 1k damage per dungeon mob at lv 60). Additionally at lv 60 you get the abillity to double your black/white mana. so that you can increase the usage of enchanted moulinet for max 4 times at least.

But i dont see why a RDM should be able to perform the same burst AoE damage like a black mage, since RDM is a hybrid and also able to heal. Its fine as it is.

a DRG / BRD / SMN or whatsoever job isnt also able to perform this much AoE damage (like a blm) either.

/edit but since the damage of healers got pushed in this patch sometimes i feel that a WHM could do the same damage as a rdm but i havent watched this closely enough^^
