SMN's Aetherpact targetting

How come SCH gets to pick a target for Aetherpact, but SMN has this "party member closest to pet" thing?

Having to use Place to get the pet close to my chosen target, and then hope that target doesn't move before the pet gets there and uses Devotion, is just silly.

Please allow Summoners to pick a target, use Aetherpact, and have the pet cast Devotion on the selected party member.

We were perfectly capable of targeting a party member for Eye for an Eye before, and Mana Shift, Apocatastasis and Erase now, and Resurrection always. Why the sudden need to automate that particular bit of targeting?

Same reason why our Aetherflow and Aethertrail stacks aren't seperate. Because they don't have anybody at SE who plays SMN, or they are actually braindead.

These changes are absolutely retarded.
