I do think they could make their AFK detection software a bit smarter, so it'd be harder to circumvent and the auto AFK logout could work more reliably. It's just a question of whether the problem is going to exist long enough for the extra development to be worth the effort. (And even then, some people would come up with sophisticated enough bot programs to still avoid it anyway.)

Honestly? No. I doubt it. It's launch week - the hype will calm down and the limitations will be removed in no time.

Well, if people exploiting the game's program to avoid getting auto kicked due to inactivity were to actually get kicked for inactivity, the queues would be better.

Had some discord mates of mine bragging about this crap in the server and I'm half tempted to report them regardless of our relationship. I work full time, I have to go to bed by a certain time to be able to get enough sleep for work, etc. I hate the queue times but not enough to completely screw over someone else's valuable time. It's infuriating.

I'm on Balmung, and these queues are ridiculous. I made this character here back before it got cluttered with people. And now I can't even get off the server. I managed to get in once, and 90k'd in an instance. And now I can't even get back into the server without the game crashing mid-queue to get my character out to transfer. This is supreme bull.

Or they just tie together their controller with a rubber band and run in a circle in a private room or something. It's kind of laughable how easy it is to trick the afk kicker.

Funny how they want us to transfer, but cant transfer without getting in, by the time people reliably get in, the queue wont be bs and they wont care anymore.
