about queue times. Sure I get that there's a queue, lots of people trying to log in.
What i don't get however is that i encountered a server lobby error myself multiple times over a VERY short period of time. And every time you're thrown back at the end of the queue. Seriously... I've been queuing longer than I've been actually playing last 4 days. At this moment it's like I'm paying SE to be in a queue!
Can they increase server capacity until things calm down? Yes they can! Will they do it? No they won't! Why? Because they try to make as much money as possible and server hardware is too expensive. They'd rather wait a month and lose some subs and wait for thing to calm down while people migrate to other servers than to spend a single dollar or euro on their servers.

I am 100% sure it is a bigger issue than just increasing server #s.

Their backend servers must be programmed to allow a dynamic number of servers and distribute the load accordingly. If this had been done from the start (it probably wasn't due to oversight, the Japanese are usually behind in this stuff because most of it comes from North America), they could just recruit additional servers on demand, even from a cloud source like Amazon.

However, because they didn't, upper management is probably prioritizing additional features over increasing quality of existing architecture. So until the players start leaving in droves due to this or making enough noise, this will not get fixed.
