To be honest, I don't pay 12 euro's to sit in a queue for over 2 hours since Friday every day and with the final result I don't get to play at all. The only time you can log in is early morning hours, but then, I'm at work. It's ridiculous...

Boo hoo
You have the option to transfer to a low pop server or you know stick it out for a week until the servers calm down, it's an MMO expansion launch what exactly did you expect?

I'm on Shiva since the beginning of ARR, why should I move? And my money is as good as yours. But if empathy is lost on you don't bother to reply.
If you have been here since ARR you should know about expansions, rather than throwing a tantrum wait a week or go or play on one of the new EU servers that have no queue times if playing this week is so important to you. we all have a queue its not just you.
Because if you don't want to deal with login queues, you move to a smaller server where there is no such congestion. Your money being as good as everyone else's means their money is as good as yours and thus you are all equal, meaning you all get to wait in the same line and are not entitled to cutting the line. If you don't want to wait, transfer. It's a solution because transferring to a lower population server would remove your queue time, and the problem is the queue time. It's a better alternative than not having a queue and causing the servers to crash and burn when everyone and their grandmother decide to login at once. Anyone who plays on a high population server should either learn to live with a queue or transfer off; it is as simple as that.
I play on Greg, and I learned to live with the long queue as Greg is the second most populated server in NA, right behind Balmung.
I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I'm frustrated that I can't log in I'm not saying I want to be first in line. I'm tired of hearing I have to transfer (no option because of friends and such) and I'm not throwing a tantrum. I don't find it normal that I am paying for a game that ,I cannot play (without paying for a transfer and such) and I just find it weird that you people think that's normal (or learn to live with it) or don't have any empathy at all for all those impacted gamers, that's all.
I respect your opinion but I don't agree.
People think it is normal because it is normal for popular MMOs to have bad queues when new expansions are released. I cannot think of a popular MMO that never had queues on expansion release (unless they use a megaserver setup, and even then, they still usually had queues). This is why people don't have empathy for you. It is like complaining about gravity because it hurts when you fall. Certain things are just to be expected. The queue times here are one o fthem.I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I'm frustrated that I can't log in I'm not saying I want to be first in line. Saying all MMO's have queues during expansion periods is misleading. Would you argue that 15 minute queues feel the same as 3+ hour queues coupled with frequent crashes?People think it is normal because it is normal for popular MMOs to have bad queues when new expansions are released. I am curious as to where the line between reasonable and unreasonable is. Is a 30 minute queue reasonable? What about 1 hour? 2 hours? 3 hours? 5? 10? At what point can we agree that the issue is less about player patience and more about a failing on the company's end? I only ask because I'm wondering when a thread like this can show up without people criticizing the person essentially paying to have their subscription times and fees wasted.
