You are able to swim in the water but if you are talking about diving then that's entirely differentRight, i have been able to see a bit of two new maps and then i was stuck there for more than 48 hours. I wasn't able to see any other new areas. I wasn't able to swim. I wasn't able to gather any new resources because everything is locked behind this first instanced story quest that i haven't been able to do.
I am not saying "i payed for something that i didn't get". But i do say: I haven't been able to enjoy any new content yet besides unlocking the 2 new classes. So to me this wasn't an early access, just early frustration.
I don't honestly know what you'd like to be compensated for - the game hasn't even been officially released yet. We didn't pay extra for the early release; we got it as a bonus. Be glad you're allowed to play early at all, even if there are more than a few hiccups while we do.
What that one guy said, just transfer off Balmung. They did this fix for the issue on Datacenters but it seems to me like they did it for Balmung. The Balmung Fix. Also EA doesn't owe us anything for this except for an apology. I know for a fact I did not pay extra for Early Access so glad most things are back to normal and thanks for the apology guys!

The sad part is, none of us are entitled to compensation. We lost that by agreeing to section 5 of the EULA. SE may compensate us out of kindness, but we can't demand it nor enntitled to it.
Wow, quite the sense of entitlement. You paid for the expansion, which you have access to.
The whole bottle necking was because they only allowed X amount of solo instances to prevent an entire data center crash. "needs of the many out weight the needs of the few".
SE needs to give us some compensation in the form of play time for the 2+ days that were unplayable due to bugs. I haven't even touched any of the expansion content yet spent most of last night getting DC'd when trying to zone in to feast. Entirely wasted sub time, plus obvious frustration.
Um...They literally fixed the issue that was SO BAD that it became a meme, and their top priority is to fix the duty finder issue and have implemented a temporary band-aid until they have it figured out. As far as I know the crashing after the primal fight is fixed, and...that's all of the major issues.
And you still complain. I understand not being able to do anything for 58 hours, that's a long time. I didn't get past the wall until this morning myself, I was stressed and furious clicking that npc for hours last night. I sent a bug report demanding they fix their f-nig game.
AND THEY DID.
And they're still fixing it, and they're talking to us about it. I understand being frustrated, and I know I'm the minority here among salty fans, but atleast thank them for doing what we've spent the past 2 days begging for them to do. Thank you, Yoshi, for telling us, and thank you to everyone who is losing sleep beating their head against the wall trying to fix this and everything else.
Tis all good and nice, but solving instances congestion doesn't do anything about the real issue of early access : log in queues.
People can't access instances? Ha! Good joke. If only people could reach the game in the first place. You need to wait 4 to 5 hours to be able to enter Cerberus past 4 pm. That means you basically can't play, since you'll log in way past the time you could enjoy the game before going to sleep. You wasted 4 hours on a queue only to log off because it's too late.
Heavensward had none of those queues. Server crashes sure, but no queues. I dread the day of release, since there will be even *more* people trying to access the game and unable to, causing our already overlong queues to blow out of proportions basically forcing you to cheat the system (crafting, market board, quest...), and thus worsening the problem even more, just to have the option to play the following day.

Honestly, it seems like whatever you all are doing with Aether is making it worse. Connection went from being Good yesterday down to Poor today. If I switch my Data Center over to Primal, everything loads up fine, but not Aether. I'm also reading that the various 90ks are still prevalent, if not more so, since today. I really don't get how you get loads of new servers and not predict this situation. Nor how even though we've had login problems since 2.0, that this is still a problem with even trying to login to the game.
But we were also paying our sub over these days and most of the game was unplayable for a long time. To include things from ARR and HW. I had friends who were stuck on instances that had nothing to do with Stormblood, along with the prolonged Duty Finder being down.
