PS4 users are screwed with people using macros to have an advantage at click spamming. If you think Cold Steel is bad, the Crimson quest shortly after has not one but two solo instance fights.

If you don't have much to lose and don't mind being stuck here for 90 days, I highly recommend transferring to Omega. There's no congestion here. I was able to do the quests first time no problem.

No freakin' update. Nothing. It's about 6 a.m., people have bought CE physical copies for $200, no updates for them. Nothing. We give you money ahead of time, which means the game should be playable even in early access. Even people who didn't buy expansions can't play the game because of queues and instances locking up, dcing. I am so freakin' angry. People think this is just gonna magically fix on release day. I don't care if devs read this or not. They could give a crap about us, the people who actually pay them. I've been around since 1.0 and I've played many different mmos, and this is by far the worst freaking glitch I have seen and the worst response I've ever seen to the problem. Every hour I only see like one person say they got in. Then they go onto Pipin. THIS GAME SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN RELEASED YET. I seriously want my money back. People took off work for this. This isn't SE's prob, but people did because they love this game and WE DONT EVEN GET AN UPDATE. Screw you.

I'm not even bothering to go and spam click Raubahn ( I gave up very quickly ), instead I'm just leveling my main through roulettes, FATEs and PoTD instead.

I really do hope this gets fixed before the 20th, this is horrible. I was here during the HW launch and it wasn't like this.

I was able to get through both of them yesterday but it was not fun for me. All the time I feared that I would get a DC which is even harder if it happens with Pipin since there are more cutscenes and fights involved. Thus I could not even enjoy these cutscenes (okay I would not have enjoyed the second story part either because it does not make much sense to me..). I logged out in Kugane even though I still had enough time to play the game simply because I just felt too tired and at the same time not soo hyped for the rest of the story. (I was lucky enough to have a scholar as my second job so I could do the first dungeon fast enough..I feel for all those that are only DD mains and have to wait forever in the dungeon Que..)

Really SE...this is not professional..do you want to get more people to play the game (but can the servers even handle more players regularly playing the game?) or do you want to loose players? You cant survive on Japanese players only!

Essentially it means go do other old activities or not play FFXIV at the moment. The fix is for people to get so tired and lose interest that they will remove the limitations on solo instances. So I anticipate a week at the soonest for people's hype to just die off. It is a shame really. More people are angry with SE not for the issue but their response . They have not responded because they have given their answer.

They lured back so many people with an expansion, new content, so many good changes... I don't know how many people are returning after months and maybe years, but I know if i came back to this I wouldn't be too enticed to stay terribly long. Those people already left for their own reasons. SB is what lured them back and they can't play SB

I'm not usually one to moan on the forums, but this is unacceptable. How SE could not have seen this coming is beyond me. You've locked access to ALL duties in Stormblood behind a series of solo instanced fights that I hear take about 15 minutes to clear. And you're surprised they're congested?

For future, they really do need to implement a queue system for solo instances via MSQ. Remove it after 1 patch since there'll be no need for it at that point. Spamming one NPC for several hours at a time with no avail is just insulting your playerbase.

God help us when Tuesday comes along.

I really can't believe SE will not just create a auto complete patch where people can actually venture out into the rest of the world. Even if further instances in the MSQ are bottlenecked at the very least players could explore and do other content. I don't really know anymore tbh. Even Blizzard did a work around with WoD but feels like SE is just hoping the issue resolves itself which it will when people permanently quit. I am not going to quit but people will but not because it's expansion craziness but because it's what SE has conveyed as the solution. People forgive dcs and lag but always remember the actions taken by devs.

What makes the problem even worse is that everytime someone says they managed to get in, people think the problem might have been fixed and start spamming even more eagerly. There's nothing in the expansion accessible if we don't do these instances. Can't discover the whole map without the help of people who can already fly, can't get the sidequests to open aether currents because they're tied to the MSQ, and on top of that, I tried to do dungeons all night only to be kicked as soon as I commenced. After having absolutely nothing to do, I went to Raubahn and started trying. From 3:30am up to 7:30 am GMT-3. Absolutely no success. My FC mate who was trying with me got in, I didn't. there were fewer people spamming at the this time, but still didn't make any difference. I was really optimistic that SQEX would fix this quickly when the problem started yesterday. Now, not anymore. I told my FC friends that I'll take some days off the game and come back when they prove they have fixed this.
