finally have room for skills i SHOULD have been using but often neglected to crossbar bloat... im digging the new simplified system... the only complaint i have is not making the gauges moveable... not a fan of their current placement

You can move and resize your UI just got to the systems section and go to HUD
It appears that no one understands, nor cares about our losses. I too did notice the loss of the Rogue mutilate... and as a lvl 23ish rogue, can say I now have no dots on that class.sad day for us.

SE themselves, when sent a message about our displeasure, sends an automated response back to post in the forums.... Where we get ridiculed and trolled over our valid annoyances. So grats to them, we're both unsubing from their game.
FYI: good luck in the future, WoW went the same way...What do I mean? Changing player skills, cross servering for certain things and forcing more party interaction on their solo players. So wait for the tell of F2P and server reductions. You won't recognize it in a couple years

That's just the Jobs.... where does it say anything about the regular starting classes? o.o
Mmos change.Plus you are barely over 50 and hes not 50 at all.
Theres only two ways to play this game.
The right way and the wrong way.
So u cant duo dungeons anymore. Use the df maybe.
This game has no freedom of customization.
Cross classes were a relic that they finally decided to fix.
No sympathy for those who unsub because of an issue they refuse to learn.
At least get lv 60 or somthn.
Why do classes even matter when you just use them for 30 levels? I see that you wanted to play solo/duo but this game was always badly designed for this even at HW. Plus it is not like it is impossible to duo anyway. Drain is actually better then Physick for Black Mage.
But per the job guide thing itself....
-Blizzard : The additional effect "Heavy" has been removed. Umbral Ice duration increased from 12 to 13 seconds. (wow one whole second)
-Fire : Astral Fire duration increased from 12 seconds to 13 seconds. (again wow.)
-Blizzard 2 : Action now exclusive to thaumaturge and black mage. (uh, i used to use this on archanist and conjurer.... not going to comment about the second thing...)
-Fire 2: Potency reduced from 100 to 80
-Thunder 2: Now acquired at level 26 (previously level 22). The effects of this ability have been completely revamped.
-Manaward: The effect of Manaward now also includes physical damage.
-Thunder 3: Now acquired at level 45 (previously level 46). Now a job quest reward. Action now exclusive to black mage(no thaum???). Cast time reduced from 3.5 to 2.5 seconds.
-Flare: Potency is now reduced by 15% for the second enemy, 30% for the third, 45% for the fourth, 60% for the fifth, and 70% less for all remaining enemies.![]()
I'm under 30 on all of them except crafting, gathering and two of my combat related classes.... so it kinda does matter to me? O.o
As for the reiteration... Drain only works in combat on enemies. So.... fall damage...... Yea.
Gonna break this down....
He's got three other characters, all with over 50s... this last one was the one he perfected the leveling ratios on.
........................ -stare- There are 10 kinds of people. Those who know binary and those who don't. There is no "right" way. Everyone, not just one person, but EVERYONE plays the same game so many different ways. NOT ONE is counted as right.
Oh joys, to get the chance to deal with people saying I'm playing wrong in person. Or who tell me I'm not using the right gear, or whatever. /facepalm
