Questions regarding Stormblood Pre-orders or Collector's Edition

Thanks for your answers. Im obviously not used to all that computer/software stuff. However I think I'm starting to understand.

So if I understand well, the registration code I entered (the one which added "Stormblood" to my Mog Station frontpage) will grant me access access to the game on the 16th instead of the 23th - right after the 15th&16th maintenance. I will probably receive the game package itself for the 23rd but it looks like it doesnt matter then - as long as Im getting it before the 23rd to get the "definitive" code.

My only remaining concern then is about the way to get the "game data" or whatever it is for the 16th, since I wont have the disc on the 16th. Will it download automatically or something? Or maybe the reg code is enough and no data will be required?

You are not "bound" to that version. What you entered was the early access code which only gives you access to Stormblood from the 16th to the 23rd. At the 23rd you need to enter the real game code delievered with the CE Edition. If you enter THAT code you are bound to that version. So that's not really a problem. Problem is that SE seems to not be able to ship the games in time for some people.

Mine doesn't even say that. As u can see in the picture I posted it still says "Validated" :/

I just checked mine and it says "validated - preparing package".

The registration code we get allows us early access on the 16th, while the expansion goes live for everyone who didn't pre-order on the 20th. The 23rd is the last day our early access licence allows access to Stormblood content, as we should get our physical copies being shipped to us by then, which have the code to properly set our accounts as owning Stormblood.

The data for Stormblood will download on the 16th through the launcher (assuming it hasn't already for those who have early installation set on). Those who don't use the launcher should be able to find a link from SE in the help section, last I checked.

I pre-ordered the PC digital download standard edition from Amazon on 12 May and so far my inbox is depressingly empty.

Preorder the expansion months ago. Was sent a new card from my bank forcing my non-expired card to be switched because of some chip in the new card. SE now charges me the day of maintenance and tells me the card does not match. Would been nice to charge my card at least a week ago or something with a little more heads up than 24hrs. Poor Customer support.

I pre-ordered the regular edition for PC but I think I might buy the PC physical collectors edition sometime in the future so my question is the following:

Does the PC physical collector edition have two separate codes, one for the expansion and one for the collectors digital items? or is it only one code that grant the player both the expansion and the collectors digital items?

My concern is that it is one code so since I already registered my PC regular edition to my account that means I cannot register the collector PC edition code if its one code for registration and digital items. The restriction on the mogstation is that you cannot register two activation codes of the same platform (PC in this case) to the same account.

The digital upgrade does not solve my problem because if bought the collector edition I want the physical items and thus my only option is to buy the physical edition of the collectors edition.

So I pre ordered the digital copy and I've received my pre order code already. However, I didn't get an actual activation code for the game. Does anyone know if we'll get those emailed out on the 20th? Or is that pre order code kinda all inclusive?
