I'm beginning to believe they should just repurpose the armoire for this...

Making it available only while in an inn room of housing will prevent any issues of 'data transfer' as they won't ever have to pull up this data unless the player is in a small instanced area and won't need the data to be changed until such a time as they're using it.

That would require that we have to manually add everything to the glamor armoire... But I think it's a small price to pay.

The only problem with that, is that it we want the data to be in a small instanced area of the single player only, the armoire is not the way to do it. Because of the fact that the armoire is a housing item (my FC has one in our house). That's the real sticking point there and probably the reason they'd give to not do it...
