    I cant agree more on that.

    They can nerf our tank-stance damage or require more time in tank-stance, but can find a way to mantain the dps of the tanks when they are at full-time dps-stance. Today a tank dps dont get even close to meele and caster dps's, so there's no need to change it in the future for some reason.

    No, dps should not be nerfed as we need it to maintain aggro sort of.
    A warrior in Deliverance, not Defiance, is quite close in terms of dps to an actual dps in fact. Although DRK and PLD have less to dps than a warrior unfortunately. SE said that they were going to change the damage calculation of tanks so that tanks don't tanks don't have to need to use pentamelds anymore, so I am guessing that the formula will be 3/4 Strength + 1/2 Vitality as this would allow tanks to use vitality accessories (if they needed more hp) or slaying accessories (if they needed more dps) so that vitality accessories were worth it to acquire, where pentamelds would not be necessary anymore as vitality and slaying accessories could meet all raid needs. This formula prevents our dps from being nerfed so that there is no tank range on the forums, keeps people invested in tanking, and so that people can do old content without much change to their strategies.

    no, im saying i like to play a tank, i love how the jobs work and if in 3.2 the changes make for example all damage base on vit and the result is like tanks with full str then is fine for me, if the result is like have the same damage like a full vit tank like now is fine for me, i dont go to enrage and quit a job how i like to play because mi hard slash dealt 200 less of damage, being a tank is much more, not only more depeese.

    if people leave the job i dont really care, i still being a tank, i adapt with the meta like im doing in 2.1 and i do it now.

    lol all that damage nerfing just to make it back to the way it was

    well with the block on being able to use str accessories, it will probably not nearly be quite as high as 3.0 but a decent start

    Huh? This change is probably an even further nerf to tank damage. If attack power scales 1:1 with Strength like it used to tanks will actually take hit in attack power. You accessories won't give any attack power (unless they put strength on them) unless you meld that tiny bit of str in. Plus gear has less strength than vit to begin with.

    Hahahaha I forgot about all that back in the day. Given my fisher is still level 3 after playing for over 2 years.. I spent so much gil on those damn sharks lmao. I probably still have a decent stash of potions left over at least, though.

    Still trying to find all this info after being gone a while, bit hard to catch up. I just saw they were calling the new tank stat "Tenacity" and I remembered saying something similar so I had to look it up to be sure.

    It is interesting though if they are basically reverting the stats back. Caused such upheaval back then
