Its just a nice way to say: We nerf the hell outta you.^^In response number #52 of the Live Letter's Q&A, the translator says: "... in Patch 3.2 we will be making adjustments that will change the damage calculations of tanks into the more appropriate state."
What do you think this information mean? Will they make the DPS of tanks less relevant, so that tanks stop using STR accessories and focus only on tanking? If not that, for you, to what they are referring to?

I don't see much of a "nerf."
Consider the fact that 500+ Parry is going to be immediately changed to Tenacity and 800+ Accuracy is going to be immediately changed to.. Crit/Det/Skill Speed/Tenacity. 1300+ Secondary stats being reallocated to "dps stats" is quite a huge improvement to balance out anything we are losing in these new Str calculations.
Good call, I forgot about Parry (that's how memorable it is right nowI don't see much of a "nerf."
Consider the fact that 500+ Parry is going to be immediately changed to Tenacity and 800+ Accuracy is going to be immediately changed to.. Crit/Det/Skill Speed/Tenacity. 1300+ Secondary stats being reallocated to "dps stats" is quite a huge improvement to balance out anything we are losing in these new Str calculations.). I guess it'll depend on how Tenacity scales in terms of making up for the lost AP, because every job will be getting access to Direct Hit, and so while DH is a gain for tanks, it's at least an equally strong gain for other jobs who aren't losing AP.
Also, I don't know if this was confirmed or just hearsay, but I've heard that Direct Hit will be weaker on tanks and healers than on DPS.
