I had my venom on yes and this happened in the trash battle and in the middle boss which was the cyclops dude. From the dots I use mutilation in trash battles but not the other two.

You sure he didnt cast Smoke Bomb on Tank?

Thats really one thing that comes into my mind. I mean 115 and 235 ilvl is huge difference, you would propably out dps him just pressing 1 skill :P

Oh then its easy...
On trash using Mutilate is often just a waste of time, since they have to live for quiiiiiite a long time.
Most likely you lost on aggro on them because the DoT didnt catch up to raw damage from AE combo by the time they died and most likely they weren't even attacking the monster you and/or the tank were focusing in.

That boss has a skill that resets its aggro.

At Aurum Vale you are synched down to lvl 49 so... they were having equal gear there.

Cheers, I'll keep this in mind! I think I also might have been generally slower than the other ninja which too eats my dealt damage. Anyway, I try not to be so dot neurotic from now on but I played as a summoner before so it's a force of habit Thank you!
