Final Predictions: Who shall die in 4.0

I'm guessing Y'shtola will live actually. Get wounded? Yes, Die? No. I'd be willing to bet Matoya or someone will die in her place to save her.

Lyse is the poster child for this scenario. She's likely to have plot immunity for a lot of it.

Thancred wouldn't surprise me if he died stupidly because he was thinking too much of Minfilia.

Tataru will live because she is the secret final boss for 6.0!

Y'shtolas life flickers netween life and death as the hero rushes halfway across the world in order to find a rumoured healer (a red mage) that is the only person that can heal her.
When you find the healer, you are sent out to collect 2 dozen different flowers that the red mage needs before agreeing to help you.
after getting the flowers, the red mage goes on a romantic tour with another npc and hands the npc the 2 dozen flowers, only to get slapped at and let down.
with that out of the way, the red mage comes with you and saves Y'shtolas.
on the way out of the hospital, Y'shtolas falls down a set of stairs and die.

I'd laugh. Tataru imo is the most annoying and pointless character in the story.

Well, Tataru is basically the heart of the Scions, she might not be as strong as the other members, but she always knows whats the right thing to do, and works hard to do so.

In a society like the Scions were everyone (sans Minfillia, but she was basically a quest npc/damsel in distress/plot excuse) is either strong or borderline op she represents the average eorzean person. Plus she shows to be quite polivalent on a second plane by gathering info and offering self crafted equipment amongst other thing. Shes the jack of all trades of the scions and not suited to combat but still a vital part of the organization

Yes... 6.0... they will torment us for 2 more whole expansion packs seeding our distrust for lalafels while making little Tataru the sweetest little thing, yet secretly sinister enough for us to speculate on some distrust... and when we finally feel that we are all joking around and there's no way that this speculation can be true... BOOM she shall strike us!

Oh she will definitely be out of action with that wound. Of course it's only fair. She was the most prominent Scion of 3.X (like Thancred for 2.X) while Lyse was away for almost the whole time
