Insert shameless plug for EQ2 style raw mat FC Storage container here. Doesnt solve personal inventory much, but lets you help FCbies who need mats your wanting to pitch for more value than 1g (looking at you 10-20 stacks each of animal skin and hide)

GW2 and WoW also have entirely separate inventories just for crafting mats.
