Have you never seen a MCH perform a Wildfire rotation? Aside from the fact that many skills' animations flow well between each other, when you weave oGCDs, there's no way you can say a MCH going all out is "boring". It's only boring if you're doing it wrong.

I can and I will. Spamming the same ability hoping for a proc isn't fun. Like I already said it lacks any visual flair other then Ricochet.

I would suggest that you watch MrHappy's MCH video that just released a few days ago where he goes over all the MCH abilities while playing the MCH (he was invited by square to play on Stormblood closed server) many of the skills have new graphics and some look absolutely amazing now.

Already did. Some of the new stuff looks cool, but that's only a handful of abilities, as opposed to the rest of it which is just bleh. Then I look over at BRD and am just like "whoa that looks insanely fun" by comparison.

Explain BLM's greater popularity then when all you do is camp and spam lol.

Because seeing high numbers is fun and they're abilities, at least, look nice. Give me Fire IV over pew, pew pew anyday.

That's what your reloads are for.

Beyond that, it sounds like you simply like big flashy effects. Well, MCH has that, but compared to perhaps Bard or BLM, it's not as flashy. As for numbers. . . Again I'm not sure where you aren't seeing big numbers on MCH but if you're just fishing and waiting for procs and not weaving and utilizing reloads to help that, then yes, you're probably not seeing what's fully possible.

Err, MCH was ranked #1 dps on average for this latest tier. Check statistics on FFlogs and exclude 99th and 100th percentile brackets since you're entering parse run territory there. But yeah, MCH was #1 for almost every single dps bracket.
