The "relevant demographic" is the demographic that is affected by a sub fee.

The few hundred thousand subs that haven't returned aren't part of the "relevant demographic", because they in no shape or form are affected by the fee.

So, if you want to talk about demographics that don't matter, let's go all the way and use the whole world.
