I'm honestly more worried about how reactive the pets will be because I'd like Contagion to line up perfectly with DWT for a buffed up Tri-disaster.

The DoTs are now both 30s, and Contagion doesn't extend DoTs anymore. Also, Tri-Disaster gets reset each time you go into DWT. They've tried to take the focus away from DoT management to a fairly significant extent.
Of course all classes took a few potency nerfs across the board, youre not the only ones.
Yes we lost RS but you have a foe equivalent, a ruin booster, ruin 4, DF, DT, 2 enkindles and so on. The loss of passivity is traded for more agression thats generally less punished especially with DT resetting Tris cool downs on activation and locking people out of aetherflow to cause you to spam DT more.
Im.quite positive it got moved around instead of lost entirely.
I haven't seen this happen to other jobs. Do you have specific examples? All of what I saw looked like either no changes, or buffs.
I am curious about the "foe equivalent" of how well that will help. Ruin booster is literally changing ruin to be what we have now. The extra enkindles may be worth it. What do you mean by DF/DT? Deathflare and Dreadwyrm Trance? DWT reseting Tri-D's cooldown is only effective once per fight. Aetherflow has the same cooldown as Tri-Disaster, so all you're getting out of it is the extra DWT in your opener for having Aetherflow off CD and 3 ready to pop. After that, you'll be able to use Tri-D once per minute on average, just the same as before.
Considering the DoTs now both have 30s duration, don't you only need Tri-Disaster roughly once per minute anyway (aside from recasting to take advantage of party damage buffs)?

I'm talking about Contagion's new mini foe's req debuff. In 3.0 it's okay to have Contagion come after Tri-disaster to extends the DoTs but with the coming changes it's preferable to have it activated before Tri-disaster so that DoTs will snapshot the magic defense debuff.
The way we might have to do it in 4.0 is like this: DWT+Contagion(or might have to hit this earlier because of the pet delay) > Tri-Disaster(so the Ruin III/IV spam will have the Ruination + Contagion debuff ) > Ruin III/IV spam > Deathflare. If it's lined perfectly Deathflare will have the effect of Contagion too.
Blm.took a 37 potency nerf to fire 4, 20 potency nerfs to all thunders and blizzard 4
Bard lost potencies and WM bonus turned into 2% crit, monk lost 10 potency on most of their core skills, DoT timer decrease off of demolish and lost ToD.
I could go on but yes dps have lost access to boosts like drg losing enhanced b4b n blm losing all dps boosts entirely.

Oh excuse me i forgot to take into account miasma 3s 50 potency application in comparison to old miasmas 20 on application so its not a 13% damage nerf
Its 940-850 = 90 so smn actually took a total of 10% nerf. Not 13.
